Printing
for generations...
In an
industry where printers come and go, Printing Plus has managed
to maintain a strong foot-hold. How does this family owned
and operated business manage to defy the odds? The answer
is actually quite simple, printing is
in our blood.
Tracing
our family tree through the generations uncovers years
of skill and dedication to the industry. Our Great-Grandfather
worked at Ruralist Press in Atlanta's West End. Our Grandfather
owned a print shop in Miami, and our Grandmother was a proofreader
for the Miami Herald. Our father, Edward Acree, grew up working
in his father's print shop in Miami, beginning as a bicycle
delivery boy.
After
World War II, our father earned a degree in Business and began
a career in advertising. Later, Edward became a partner in
Cargill, Wilson and Acree, then
the largest advertising agency in the Southeast.
In 1993,
Edward Acree and his eldest son, Scott, established Printing
Plus. Six years later Scott's sister, Toni Acree joined the
company.
Since
their great-grandfather entered the profession, the art of
printing have changed quite a bit, and so have we. Printing
Plus constantly evolves with the industry. We invite
you to find out more about the many ways Printing Plus can
make our clients look good... literally.
